But like sex, they affect everyone and
everything in one way or another, sooner or later. What’s disconcerting is that you’ve probably missed your virgin moment without even realising it - since you, your family and your animals have probably been having an intimate GMO relationship for some time now - they just neglected to tell you. Or ask you. Or give you a choice to opt out if you're not interested. Or protect what you're interested in from GMO intrusion.
Actually since I started researching into GMOs I discovered that there are other food issues like nanotechnology, food irradiation, the corporate gobbling up of small farmers, farm practices, agricultural sciences and agricultural policy, that have been developing virtually unnoticed, and untethered, by the major community.
And that there are even new agri-biological science methods that have outdated and surpassed the GM technology. But the GM monolithic machine continues its efforts at world food market control and ownership, regardless.
The intention of this site is help make accessing all the GMO information that the pro GM lobby don't or won't tell you, and where to find the involved people and groups ( especially australia ) as easy as possible. And where to go for information about and access to alternative, often proven better, less expensive, soil, nutrient, eco & climate friendlier, options.

Are GM crops
expanding in Europe?
GM crop cultivation represents a mere 0.06% of agricultural land in the European Union (EU).
Far from expanding, the number of hectares of GM crops fell by 2% in 2009 in Europe.
The area of GM crops has fallen in Europe every year since 2005.
Only 1 GM crop - a Monsanto maize - has been authorised for commercial growing in the EU.
It's since been banned for health and environmental reasons in 6 EU Member States.
The recent German ban will make GM crop cultivation fall even further in the EU.
75% of all GM crop cultivation in the EU occurs in just two regions of Spain, where it has caused widespread and possibly irreversible contamination of conventional and organic seeds, feed, food and farmland.

Imagine pharmaceutical companies trying to prevent medical researchers comparing patented drugs or investigating their side-effects - it is unthinkable. Yet scientists cannot independently examine raw materials in the food supply or investigate plants that cover a lot of rural America.
